Our purpose-built care home in Whetstone opened on our present site in 1963, but our tradition of care goes back to 1861 and to the original Baxendale Home, which is now the site of the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

Today you’ll find modern facilities at Baxendale: recently refurbished, light airy rooms, dedicated, caring staff and happy, active residents. Our facilities include 24-hour-a-day care, a full programme of varied and stimulating activities, a five-star rated kitchen, a hair salon and laundry services. Our residential retirement home contains several spacious lounges and a bright, modern dining room that looks out across a shimmering lake.
